Saw these on e-bay today. #190333552474. Would these be something that would be worth taking a chance on for my 1776??
Thanks Karl

Hi Karl, I looked up the carbs on ebay for you and it looks like a pretty nice set up! I am currently running a 1776 with dual 44 webers. I just had to jet mine down. But my engine has head work 40x35.5 mm valves with dual springs and ported. So depending on the jetting of these carbs they should work out for you. But that's not a bad price. My engine was built by Lloyd Mosher Enterprises in Upland, you could give him a call also for advice. He's the best VW mechanic around and I know Rob G. goes to him also. Lloyd's # 909-981-1809. Good luck! Are you coming to the meeting on Saturday, if so I'll meet you then. - Joe

Joe, Thanks for the input. Back in my 20's I thought I knew everything but after _ _ years I seem to have forgot it. They looked really good to me too and the seller seems to be pretty straight up about them.

I'm hoping to make it up to Red Robbin Saturday but the in-laws are coming into town on friday and usually its what ever they want to do while there here.
I'm planning on being at cable airport no matter what!
Thanks for the help.
Karl
